About Us

Like most people, I have been off track more than a few times in my life. I have wasted a lot of valuable time, developed and overcome sinful habits, and quite frankly I am blessed to be alive. Thank you Lord, Mom, Dad, Family & Friends for seeing me through all of those days. Though I am now a Christian and have been on my walk with God for about twenty years, it's difficult for me to consider myself as a Saint (as the Bible instructs). I am by no means holier than thou. I am not a Bible thumper, and I don't own a soapbox. In fact, I consider myself an ordinary, average guy. I struggle with my faith and my Christian walk every day but I cling to it because of so many answered prayers and the fact that something cannot come from nothing. Knowing my faults and shortcomings, I want to improve. I want to be a better man of God, a better husband, a better father, a better friend, and a better citizen. Most of all, I want God to be proud of me. I want to stand in front of God one day and hear the words "Well Done". I want Him to point over my shoulder and show me faces of people who I witnessed to and had an impact on their life and salvation. This was the primary inspiration to complete A Life Well Lived Day Planner that I believe was a seed that God planted in my mind and heart.

One of my biggest fears in life since having children is the thought of not being around to be their father. I pray several times every day for my kids (Christina, Mitchell & Nathan) and thank God for them. I close every prayer with God, please let me stay around and raise my children. At the same time, I am very aware that I could die at any moment. In that event, I wanted to leave a road map to help guide them through life. I wanted to leave them a plan to develop good habits and to make good choices. Of course my wife, Amy, would do a great job of that without me and our children are blessed to have her as their mother. Nonetheless, my children were a strong motivation to complete A Life Well Lived Day Planner.

I'm also very concerned with the things that I see going on in our country. Many people have lost their faith, their morals, their values, their courtesy, their gratitude, their patriotism, and much more. As a nation we've practically abandoned God. As my small contribution and effort to encourage people to search their heart and conscience, A Life Well Lived Day Planner was assembled.

Throughout most of my adult life I've almost always owned a day planner. Often I will write reminders to myself on the planner pages of things I can, and should, do to live life a little better. In an effort to save myself a lot of time handwriting those things, A Life Well Lived Day Planner was completed for my personal use in my day-to-day life.

For all of these reasons, A Life Well Lived Day Planner was developed. My prayer is that the day planner will inspire you to live your life better; for God, for your family, for others, for your country, and for yourself.

Blessings,

Jody Tripp
